Upgrading to castle club

I be going with my mum to disneyland Paris on 13th to 17th October 2014 and staying at disneyland hotel. I really want to stay at the castle club but it really really expensive to stay at castle club plus my mum already paid over £100 for and standard room at disneyland hotel and when ask how much would be to upgrade to castle club the person on the phone said it would cost an thousands pound more to upgrade. I heard that some people that really really luck to an free upgrade to the to the suites in disney hotels. Is any of us having an free upgrade to the castle club whilst we there on the 13th-17th October 2014.

I very much doubt you'll get a free upgrade when paying for a standard room. It's not very often this happens and the chances are very slim.
I'd say be happy that you're staying in the Disneyland hotel.A lot of people have never stayed there, and possibly never will

If I'm honest it's not worth the price to upgrade. The rooms are the same as standard rooms and your not guaranteed a park/garden view (In fact my view was a view of a brick wall lol) . All you really are paying extra for is the lift to the turnstiles and breakfast in the Castle Club lounge. With the money you save you could buy more merchandise or eat in the premium restaurants instead.
