Upgrading to AP with UT ticket ahead of time?

Is there anyway to upgrade without going on day one first? I was just curious if it could be done ahead of time. with the price bridge, we will save about $30 total on the ticket, but getting to check in earlier (possibly) and not going straight to the park may have some value so I'm curious about doing it ahead of time. Thank you!

There is no way except to do it on site. On the plus side, we did this at the end of august and it only took 10 minutes and guest relations is directly next to every park entrance so it wasn't out of the way or change your plans time consuming to do it.

Now that they've raised the price it's not near the savings but...it is what it is. We got a great rate at AKL.

If you want to price bridge the ticket, you must use it to enter a park at least once before upgrading.

So I have heard I must have the AP in hand when we are officially checked into the resort on the day of arrival. Which I will indeed have.

However...I just checked in online. I don't have the AP yet but we have a room booked using the AP rate since we are upgrading our UT tickets on day of arrival.
Did I just mess things up by checking in online?

No, you should be fine.

What about on that day when I do the upgrade to AP, will that affect our FP+s? I am managing all 4 guests on my MDE account.

And I hate to bother ...but in case you know...is the memory maker which is now part of AP going to be added automatically when I upgrade? Thank you so much!

It will not alter your FP. If you upgrade to the new AP that includes the photopass (not the resident AP or whatever they are calling it now), then yes, it will be automatically added.
