Upgrading to AP using AAA tickets

Hi all! Does anyone know if you purchase tickets through AAA can you upgrade to APs? And if yes- do you pay the difference in price from what you actually paid for the ticket? Or the value of the ticket?

BUT..you still have to watch them. My DH and I had the buy 3 get 2 free park hoppers. We went in to upgrade to Deluxe AP.. We show him our DVC for the 20 off and give him our park hoppers..he does all his computer stuff, then says I still owe some huge amount like 300.00 for the two. I'm puzzled and after back and forth he discovers he was only giving me credit for a southern CA special 3 day thing. I guess he'd been having alot of those, and didn't even look at our park hoppers. After much more figuring and different totals owed, then remembering to discount the DVC, then applying my Birthday fun card we ended up with 2 APs for 108.00 additional out of pocket. Then I stayed for the convention and went 2 more days (my friend paid for 2 twilight nights at 48.00 each) so using that math I'm even and any other use is gravy

When we got our APs we upgraded from AAA 3 day parkhoppers. We used the magic morning first. As the PP said, just do the math ahead of time so you know the amount to expect. If it is different by much then you can ask about it. If you have free parking on your hoppers, you won't have it on your APs unless you pay extra to add it.

Thanks! Do you know if I do want to add the parking- do I have to purchase it for all the AP's that I want to upgrade? Or just 1?

You can add it to just one. That person must always be in the car, but doesn't have to be the driver.
