Have a 7 day parkhopper (from parksavers). Going to upgrade this coming trip to Gold annual pass.
I have read that it is best to wait until the ticket is used for one day admission, then upgrade to the pass, hoping to bridge during that first day. (want to get photopass linked right away)

I also read only Magic Kingdom and a location at Disney Springs is the only place to do it? I know TIW can only be purchased that way, but I though AP upgrading could be done at other locations as well?

Just confirming as I don't want to be running all over the place. AK is our first day...and we will be there for the day into a late night.

Thanks again you awesome, helpful folks!! :cloud9:

It's not necessary to use the ticket first. If the CM does their job correctly, the ticket will be price bridged even if unused.

You can do the upgrade at any Park Ticket Window or Guest Relations Location. The TiW card can only be purchased at a Guest Relations Location.

Ticket upgrade information can be found in Post #5 here: All About TICKETS at WDW
