Upgrading tickets?

I'm planning at least 3 disney vacations in a 12 month period so I want to get annual passes( for just my dd and I) can we upgrade our tickets to an annual pass if we book with a trip during free dining and still get free dining?.we will have two other people with us who won't be up grading.

Yes, you and your DD can upgrade your tickets from your FD package. Here is a link with information on how to upgrade to an AP. Scroll down to post #7:
