i'm taking my grandson and his friend to the parks this coming Monday and Tuesday. Being a cheapo I bought the $99.00 one park per day tickets for them. I figured I would pick them up at 1:30 and drive the hour to DL then do CA until evening, swim in the pool and do DL the next day. Well my daughter informed me they are testing this week and I may not be able to pick him up early. It will be close to 5:00 by the time we get there, parked and in our room. Is it possible to upgrade the tickets to both parks for both days in case they want to head back to CA on the second day? If so do I need to do it at the park or can the DL hotel front desk handle it?

I have never done it but I am pretty sure you can just go to the ticket booth and upgrade it there.

Take it to the ticket booth. They can upgrade you there. If you were concierge level at Disneyland hotel, they would probably be able to do it, not sure about the regular front desk though. Havefun

The ticket booth closes when Disneyland closes, so you should be fine taking it to the ticket booth. I'm also not sure about the Disneyland Hotel front desk.

What hotel are you staying at?

You can upgrade the tickets at the ticket booths for sure, I've done it. :)

Thanks, we will do it at the ticket booths. I'm staying at the Disneyland Hotel so I will ask when I check in....can't hurt.

Note to anyone else thinking of upgrading ... if you got your ticket at a Discount, you will have to pay back the discount you received when you upgrade. In other words, you don't pay just the difference between the full price 2 day and full price 1 day pass, but you pay the difference between the 2-day full price ticket minus what you paid for the 1 day pass.

This is correct, any discount will be lost when you upgrade, just something to consider. :)

Is this true for upgrading to annual passes?

I did a package throught WDTC and got 6 day hoppers that I plan to upgrade to the annual pass with no blockout days.

Will I get full credit for the 6 day hoppers or lose any benefit I got for doing the package deal? :confused3

Yes, the package deal will lose value. BUT, we buy ours through our credit union. We paid $210 for a 4 day hopper values at $234. When we upgraded the ticket to an AP, we received $234 as the value.
