So exactly how would this work if you have any ideas. I missed purchasing before the price increase. Last time we went it was increased this week. I see this year it already went up. Should have watched or listened around the DIS. I just have been so busy working 2 pt jobs.

BUT, if I purchase the MYW hopper from Mouse Savers....would I buy the best bargan at 6 days SAVE $29 off (Adult) gate price
Tax Included
Adult (10 +) $ 304.95

Then Upgrade to the Annual pass after first use....but if I want the Annual Pass room discount, I need to use the tickets before check in to get the room discount. Or can I use the tickets by not linking to the room key and have the discount applied after check in, using the MYW ticket and upgrade leaving the park. THen go to the check in o guest relations and would then consider the up grade and apply the discount to the room rates.

Over $600 is an awful lot for the annual pass, would like to save a bit on the cost.

I read the only place for the Annual upgrade is at the Major Prks, correct?

I am planning to do the same as you and I have asked my TA to look out for AP room discounts. You don't need to have the AP when you check in - you can come back with the pass after you have done the upgrade.

As far as I know you can only do the upgrade at a park or Downtown Disney not at your resort. As you have to use the ticket before you do the upgrade it makes sense to do it inside the first park you go to.

At the same time as I do the AP upgrade I am intending to buy the Tables in Wonderland card - if you think you will spend a lot on table service dining then you should look at this as it could save you money.

Thanks for the information :thumbsup2
My facebook friend from DIS is a TA for Disney and she is online expecting tomorrow, ie) today the AP room discount is out.

How much is the Tables card? I was not able to get ADR's where I wanted to go, mainly Chef Mickey's, and wonder if I will have a PIN for the free food as in the Spring, or not bother. We never did table service before except the one time yeeeeaarrss ago when dd was 6. She is turning Sweet 16 this trip. Mentioned she wants a character meal with the Princesses. WHY did i not think of this in June when I made the ressie's?
so I am keeping my eye on my email and see what pop's up today.
