Upgrading southern ca city pass

We are heading to Disneyland Legoland and sea world June 1-8th. We bought the southern ca city pass this time because it saved us a lot of money. I bought it right before the prices on the city pass went up again. We want to upgrade to 4 maybe 5 Disney days. How do i figure out how much it will cost to upgrade? If I'm doing it right it looks like if you upgrade you basically lose the money you saved by going with the city pass.

I believe that is the case. For any other type of ticket, upgrading brings the total cost up to what it would have been if there were no discounts. I do not know the actual cost for adding the Disney days, though. It may be worth a phone call.

Ouch that really sucks. I tried talking to someone yesterday through online chat but she said they wouldn't tell me price until umm there. I just emailed city pass so maybe they'll tell me more

CityPass lists the upgrade value on their site. You'll get whatever the upgrade value was when you bought your ticket. You can contact them, tell them which CityPass you have, when you bought it, and they'll know what value you'll get.

According to the person that responded to me I'll get the full amount for 2017. I asked her if that rue even though i bought before the ticket increase and she said its a set price And that's what id get. Seems kind of crazy because its way better then i thought so hopefully that's true

If you bought it at the 2016 price, I'd budget for the 2016 value, just in case it ends up being more than you're expecting. Someone from CityPass posts here, they might respond with more info.

We just did this in February for our trip. We upgraded our City passes to a 4 day ticket and paid $40/per ticket to do so. They ended up just taking the Disney days off our city passes and printed out new 4 day hoppers for us.
