Upgrading Pass

Hi,

We are booked for October w/free dining and 1 day pass. I have an annual but my son does not.

Can anyone tell me if I will have a problem upgrading his pass to a 7 day?

I know that when you book a pkge. we all have to purchase the same passes but does this apply to upgrading too?

Has anyone done this?

I've read that this is done at the Park's Guest services. So it doesn't matter if you are only upgrading 1 ticket. That everyone needs to have the same ticket when purchasing the package. Since you have an AP I would suggest adding park hopping to your son's 7 day ticket or if you still have some time before your pass expires making his an AP as well.

My DD18 bought a FL play 4 pass. Good for 4 days within a 5 month period. I upgraded her pass to an AP without an problem and that was after it was already used. Her anniversary date was when she used the play 4 pass originally.

Someone at Guest Relations at Epcot told me that, once the package tickets, originally all the same, are printed and handed to you and your family, each ticket can be upgraded independently of the others.
