Is it still possible to do this? Do I just take them to the guest relations location right outside Magic Kingdom? Thanks! :goodvibes

We upgraded our Orbitz park tickets to Premiers without issue.

Yes, that is the best way to do it. You can also go to Downtown Disney next to DisneyQuest to do it, but last time I was there to do that (a few months ago) their Premiere Passport printer wasn't working... so yes, the Magic Kingdom entrance is the best one.

It's really simple and just takes a few minutes. Just pay the cost difference between the two passes and you'll get the new one.

Then, add your passholder number to the My Disney Experience app right away and it can be used immediately for MyMagic+ stuff as well.

Perfect, thanks!

Just make sure you go when DL is OPEN! DL uses a different ticketing system so the CM needs to call DL to verfiy the ticket information and expiration date. If you come to GR at 9 am (it is only 6am in DL) they will not be able to call and get that information.

Also your Premier Passport will expire when your DL passes would have expired.

I agree with this, outside MK guest relations is the best place. They have the printer in the outside MK location, and you don't get the blank stares you will get at other locations. After a few years, CMs still don't recognize the Premier card very well.

IMPORTANT -
Be ready to get issued another Premier pass going back to DLR. The Premier AP pass from Florida and the one you get in Anaheim - these LOOK the same but are not the same. The CA and FL computer systems do not talk with each other is the problem.
So next visit to DLR with the Premier give yourself 30 extra mins at DL to get the Premier card re-issued. This is a pain but not getting into DL after a "plaid" triple checks your AP card is a pain too...

Then when you go back to Florida, you have to have this card re-issued AGAIN, preferably at the MK GR location.
Yes this is crazy, and yes we've complained about it, and no it has not been fixed yet. But Premier AP does save hundreds of dollars so what else can you do.

ps - I shudder to think what happens if you book FP+ in Florida 60 days out, then go to DLR and have the Premier AP re-issued for California. My guess is you lose the Florida FP+, but I do not know this. :scared:
