DS has chosen Pop Century for our trip in November.

My question is has anyone sucessfully paid for an upgrade to a 60's room at check-in? I could pay for the upgrade now, but here in the UK the upgrade will costs us $20 a night whereas according to the Disney site it should be only be $11, so I'm not planning on paying more!

We're going at a quiet time, Nov 7th-17th so I'm hoping there will be some availability. If not I plan to just request 50's or 70's.

TIA

Claire

Before you offer to pay for the upgrade, ask for a complimentary upgrade. We were upgraded at no charge at all star music last year, and I didn't even ask!!!!!!!

You can upgrade or downgrade at ANY time.... just so long as there is availability.

Claire,
Just because you're in the UK shouldn't mean you pay more!!! no way! I noticed too that there is a discrepancy between prices at Disney.com and Disney.co.uk, unless you've booked through Virgin and they're taking a mark up. Otherwise either do your booking through disney.com or better still telephone Disney central reservations at 00 1 407-9-347639 and ask for an upgrade. I'm in Ireland but I'm being charged Disney.com rates. good luck!
