Upgrading a way.com ticket- how much to budget for?

If a 3 day 1 park ticket is purchased for X.XX at way.com which is $20 cheaper than Disneyland.com. If upgrading to a 4 day 1 park ticket- do you forfeit the $20 discount, or does it just ring up as a regular 3 day ticket?

Usually, you forfeit the discount. When buying the discounted tickets, it is best to buy the ticket you want outright.

I have a similar question... Can you upgrade through way.com? It seems that would be the only way to maintain your discount.

nope you can't upgrade through way.com, you also can't cancel and repurchase
