Upgrading a Park Hopper -- Is there any reason I should not do it?

SnackyStacky patiently answered my questions a few weeks back on the cost to upgrade the 5-day Park Hopper I bought at the Disney Store back in October. It will cost approx. $102 to get the 10-day MYW ticket. It seems like a good thing to do but am I missing a reason it would not be? I would probably use 5 days on my April trip with 5 days left for another one, either in October or December.

No, sounds like a good idea to me, and will definitely save you a lot of money over buying a separate 5 day ticket for your next trip!

Sometimes it's better to use the old PH - it really depends on what you paid for it and other factors. It also may be better to use the old 5 day PH this trip and just buy a 5 day MYW that expires for your next trip. Use the spreadsheet to find out.
