Upgrading a MYW ticket to Annual Pass and Fastpass +?

I read through the Ticket FAQ but didn't see this so maybe you guys can help me out. I plan on traveling in a group of 3 people this fall and I want to buy all of our tickets when making reservations. Once I reach the parks I want to upgrade my ticket to an AP and buy a Tables in Wonderland Card. The question I have is what happens to my Fastpass + schedule once I upgrade? Do I lose them or are they carried over to the AP?

Thanks, that makes sense. Disney would want you to be able to keep your FP+ when you spend more money.
Bill, glad you're going to WDW again. I was always a fan of your disability insights at the parks. I believe you stayed at POFQ last time, in a newly reconfigured HA room (with pics). May I ask where you're staying this time?

Probably Pop Century although POFQ is tempting too. I just decided yesterday that it's been too long since I've been to WDW. So tomorrow I'm going to start discussing the trip with family and see where they want to stay.

Bill, nice to have you back. We are going to WDW in December and staying at POFQ after our cruise on the Disney Wonder. My son uses a a wheelchair and we have booked a HA room. Any advice for us? We have been to WDW many times before, but have never stayed in a HA room (he is now 24 and we need the room).

We have never been on a Disney cruise before either. Have you and any advice?

Good for you! I enjoyed Pop. Enjoyed the lake view. Last trip I also enjoyed side trips to AoA for different food court offerings. We're staying at Pop and FTW Cabins. Never tried cabins before. It's a one-time splurge. Let's hear from you!

Hi Barb,

Here is the POFQ review I wrote up: http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=41123181&postcount=133

It's a great place to stay and I love heading over to POR at night to see Bob the piano guy.

As for the parks/transportation/etc... I try to be patient with everything. It's rough when you watch 3 busloads of people leave at the end of the day before you finally get a tie down spot on a bus and it's hard to have a ride be a walk on for everyone else but a 20 minute wait because there are 2 other wheelchair users in front of you but it's just life.

The FAQ that Sue has is great for information: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=595713

I've been visiting WDW on and off as a paraplegic since 1977 and I've loved every trip. WDW really does seem to be the most wheelchair friendly place I've ever visited.

Thanks for the link to your review, Bill. We are used to getting situated in small places (cruise cabins), so the hotel room should not be a problem. We would prefer a suite at AofA, but out budget won't allow it this trip. We could use our DVC points, but are saving up for another trip to Aulani. By the way, if you haven't been there yet, it is fabulous and very WC friendly!
