upgrades?

i have heard and read about upgrades. where and how do you find out if you get an upgrade? do you have to ask? i love my cat 9 room but it would be great to have a verandah@!

If you booked directly through DCL, you can look through their website (Check Reservation) to see if the stateroom #/category has changed. I don't know if anyone has had success asking. Usually, when it happens (sort of rare), it's by chance. I know you can call and do it for the cost difference but I'm guessing you were talking about the free type. Good luck.

I think it's kinda like the tag fairy - if you ask, you ain't gonna' get it. The free upgrades are really few and far between. You will usually be notified a few months before sailing if you get an upgrade.
