Hi Everyone! I'm so excited because I just checked my reservation online and found out that I've been upgraded from category 11 to category 9! YIPPEEEE! We are on the Nov. 6 three day and I just paid my balance in full on Saturday. We are in room 2552! I am a little worried about deck 2 because of things I've heard on this board..........is it ok??? Is it WAY close to the water? Is it noisy?

My DH said I should call DCL and tell them I know Verandah Man and they might upgrade us to a suite! He is so famous! haha

seriously congrats on your upgrade, don't worry about deck two you will be fine. You will love the split bath!

We got an updgrade from cat 11 to cat 9. Very excited. I am nervous about deck two too. Oh well. We will have to experience it for ourselves. I go on 9/13/03 and will report back to you.

Don't worry about Deck 2, I was in deck 2 and it was great. We hit some big waves in the mddle of the week, and the ship was rocking, but we hardly felt it when we were in our cabin. And when you get off the ship from the Deck 1 gangway, you will notice how high up deck 2 really is.

Congrats on your upgrade from a fan for deck 2. The higher you go on the ship, the more you feel the motion.

skycon- you do not have long! let me know how it was on deck 2! My dh asked if we would be able to look out our window and see fish.........lol i told him it's not THAT far down.
