Wow. I had been stressed out for weeks because disney world reservations put us in a Port Orleans royal suite even though we requested a 5th sleeper room (yes we KNOW what to except with a 5th sleeper! We've stayed in them before...it works for our needs...we NEEDED that 3rd sleeping area option).

I called the guest serviced number to let them know we needed that 5 th sleeper room and had to have the 3 sleeping surfaces and they told me that they couldn't help me even though that is what I booked...they gave me an email address to send the request to. 8 days later, I received a response telling me I needed to CALL GUEST SERVICES...WHICH WAS WHO TOLD ME TO SEND AN EMAIL!!!I I was getting the run around and we NEED to have 3 separate sleeping surfaces. It's NOT just a want or "I feel like it..." it's a need. That is why I booked that room to begin with. Disney was the one who changed it. And they could all see that it had been changed. And the resort was fully booked! I was told nothing could be done.

Yesterday, I got a call apologizing for the Issues and this amazing, happy to do his job cast member said he saw that we weren't being taken care of properly.

He UPGRADED US to a different resort and gave us some "extra perks". I'm quite excited. And nervous all qt the same time because I know NOTHING about this other resort and haven't made plans that are at this resort even though we will be there in a few short days! But I am excited! And I want to say that Disney cast members so a wonderful job at making things right!!! We went from a moderate up to a deluxe and MORE!

I also want to thank the people here for keeping us all informed as best they can so when we have to scramble to get our NEW resort information. Tips and tricks/ins and outs...it's all laid out right here for us and so many helpful posts are available! I am a person who plans ahead, likes more than enough information and doesn't like the last minute changes...but it's going to be a lot easier with info I have the access to here. Thank you all!
