Upgraded at WL plus Anniversary surprises!!

Hi everybody....we recently returned from a fantastic vacation at WDW. We stayed at WL. I reserved a Woods View but we got upgraded to a FABULOUS center stage Courtyard View!! I told the CM that it was our anniversary when I made the reservations back in February. Well, we received several surprises for our anniversary. We got a signed card from Cinderella; 2 large chocolate totem poles (characters WL logo); they gave us turn down service on the eve of our anniversary with chocolates and a heart shaped chocolate with the WL emblem on it! The upgrade was fantastic and all the extra surprises made this one of the most magical stays at WL ever for us. It was our 19th anniversary.

Wow, sounds like you had a great time. Congratulations on your anniversary. Me and DH celebrate #17 this September and I would love to do it at the WL. We just got back from there a couple of weeks ago. It's my favorite resort. It's always nice when you get pixie dust sprinkled on your vacation.

Love that Pixie Dust. Happy Anniversary! DH and I are going in a month for our 35th! Havin' 4 days at the beach and 6 at WDW.

My husband and I are going go WDW and staying at the WL in September. This will be our 30th Anniversary Wedding Trip. I did mention this when I made the reservations and our paperwork has 30th wedding anniv. all over it. I hope that we will get some pixie dust. I love WDW and am counting down the days until our visit. We have been changed from a standard to courtyard view, but we have never been there before, so I don't know what that will me mean. Anyone have any info. on this.

wow.. you were so blessed... we had our anniversary there in May and didn't get any extra pixie dust.. no upgrade or anything but did have a great time at the parks! Can't wait to go back.. we noted our anniversary too.. I guess it just happens randomly... that is the way it should be though.. Glad you had a great time.

Happy Anniversary. It will be me and DH's 6th anniversary the day we check in. I didnt tell them when I made the reservations. I have ADR for Cinderellas Royal Dinner that night I told him I wanted to get one of the cakes for us but he said no he doesnt want to be embarassed
