upgrade when you picked a room #?

All this talk about upgrades today got me wondering....if you selected a cabin # is there any possibility that you will get upgraded or does that only happen in you select a category only? Anyone have any experience with this? TIA

there is no logic behind the upgrades. Both Guarenteed Rooms and Assigned rooms get upgrades.

I chose a specific room 5632 Cat 7 and was moved to a Cat 4.
