UPGRADE... We are sooo psyched!

We are sooo psyched!
My DW called me at work Monday afternoon to inform me our TA had just left a message on our answering machine telling us that Disney upgraded us from a Cat. 4 room to a Cat.3. We went from room 8006 in the front of the ship to 8102 which is at the back of the ship. We get a cabin almost twice the size and the whole concierge treatment to go along with it.
Our family would like to think someone had sprinkled some pixi dust our way but my DW, DD, DS and myself would like to thank the “BIG GUY” upstairs for this wonderful surprise.

WOW!! How lucky are you guys!? That is very exciting, have a wonderful time.

Ice Hockey is a fun sport. My son (11) plays and enjoys it VERY much. He has been in the sport since he was 5! Do you coach little kids or "big" kids!?

Enjoy, and have the time of your life!! Be sure to write a trip report and post photos for us!!

GREAT news!!!!! Should make up for all the hockey you will be missing! (I know how it is --- with 3 in ice hockey we will be missing 6 games and 3 practices (maybe a 4th - our 10 yr old boy has practice at 6AM the day after we get home!!) we are also convenors for the 10 yr old boys -- 12 teams of 16 (2 divisions)plus over 100 on the waiting list --- and that's just in our town of less than 200,000 people!!!!

Yes, I'd think the upgrade would be worth it!!!!! Have a fabulous time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We're bouncing for ya!!!!!!!!!!!

For the answers to some of your questions...

1) After a 5 day stay at WDW we will be sailing October 17th on the Wonder.

2) I coach Squirt level players (8-11). I am USA Hockey certified level 4 Hockey instructor. I have coached and taught Hockey in all its forms for 28 years.

3) Yes, I will miss two practices and one game but most off all I will miss my players...
