Upgrade to the Deluxe Plan

We are going for 7 nights in November....family of 4. We are staying value but paid to upgrade to the Basic Dining Plan for free dining. I'm 4 credits over with my reservations. Trying to figure out if I should just pay for these OOP or if I should upgrade. How much would it be to upgrade for 7 nights?

I agree with Purple Figment. Prices to upgrade from DP to DxDP are per night of your resort stay. In your case, multiply by 7 nights. For adults, that is $48.89x7 = $342.23 extra/pp. For a child 3-9, that is $10.63x7 = $74.41 extra/pp. IMO, doing an upgrade to Deluxe DP for 4 extra TS meals wouldn't be worth it. Of course, you would gain far more than 4 TS credits by upgrading to DxDP. But honestly, you'd spend so much time traveling to eat-then eating-then traveling back to the park or the resort, that DxDP would be exhausting (and too much food). Many people report this as being their experience with DxDP. And the added tip expense for DxDP is another thing to consider.

We upgraded last time at BLT and for this next one at GF, but we do as many character meals as possible a day.
