For the first time used an internet TA didn't have a great experience. Ultimately after a couple of weeks she did get the package I wanted. Now I seriously rethinking the non hoppers, but I don't get a good feeling when I ask her a question, so I thought I'd ask here. I never did non hoppers and we are usually park hoppers, I'm getting "cold feet". Since it's such a short trip (4 days) I was thinking of skipping AK (which I love), with a hopper I could visit a half day.
I got a package with Allstar Music, nonhoppers and dining. Could I just upgrade them when I get there? I know I paid directly to WDTC and I used my Disney Visa if that makes any difference.

As far as I know, you can always "upgrade"....but I think you may need guest services to do it. At each of the parks or at DTD you can ask to have the hopper option added. I think you will pay for the full option...something like $7 or $8 a day for an adult ticket...and you can't just pay it for the day you'd like to go to AK..I think you pay for the amount of days on the ticket you bought, whether you actually hop on those days or not is up to you, but you do pay for the "choice".
You can always ask at check-in also... I have been happy to find that they can accomodate all sorts of changes that I was unsure about.
Enjoy your trip!

You can easily change them at any of the parks at guest services or at DTD.

Oddly enough, my brother and SIL upgraded them from 1-day/1-park to 7 day park hoppers at Pop's concierge desk right aftery they checked in. I am not sure if they are supposed to do it, but they can. I would ask.

They love for you to upgrade, more money for them.

Thank you, that's what I figured, glad to know it's a choice. I realize I'll have to upgrade all the days. I wasn't sure they would do the upgrade because of how I ordered them from TA in a package.
Thanks all!

That's what guest services/resort concierge (a desk at your resort) is there for, at least in part. They can legitimately do any upgrades except annual passes and stuff like that -- the annual pass stuff can only be done at the parks/DTD.

Yes, you can upgrade to Park Hopper at any point within 14 days of first use. It will cost $48.00 per ticket regardless of the length of the ticket and or how many days have been used.

So in your case I would leave things as they are and if you decide you want to hop you can upgrade at guest services at any park or DTD. You just have to decide if its worth the $ depending on the number of days you would use the hopper feature.
