upgrade the AP?

I have AP x 4 for the family (4 park). I was thinking about a visit to one of the water parks. I would have to buy tickets. Does anyone know prices for water park tickets. DD 5, DS 9 and adults x 2.

Would disney let me up grade the regular AP's to to deluxe?

I'm wondering if that would be a better deal or to just buy park tickets for a day or two @ the water park.

I had to buy a ticket for my son recently who didn't have an old park hopper plus pass to use like we did. The cost was around $27 for the child's ticket. Keep in mind you also get an AP discount on the water park ticket. I think it is around $3. I think they would let you upgrade to the other AP pass. My opinion is that if you are only going to a water park for one day, it is definitely not worth it.

2 adult water park tickets with AP discount: $59.64
2 kids water park tickets with AP discount: $49.00
Total: $108.64

Cost to upgrade 2 adult AP to PAP: $255.60
Cost to upgrade 2 kids AP to PAP: $217.26
Total: $472.86



It would take your family about 4 visits to a water park to cover the difference. I think I would just stick with purchasing the water park admission.

We went to guest services two weeks ago to inquire about upgrading our AP's to include the water parks. It was going to cost about $106 each, and our AP's would still expire in Feb. Not much time to use these passes (Nov-Feb is probably too cold)

After asking the right questions, we learned that for the same $106 for each adult, we could simply buy Water Park AP's that expire next July. They are good for both water parks, but not for Disney Quest like the Premium AP is. It is about the cost of 3 days at the water parks, which we have already done.

Its just another option to think about, if your AP's were purchased more than a month ago.
