Hi all,

Just a quick question - I booked 4 x adult flights with Thomas Cook at the end of July for Sept 2016 with upgraded seats on the return leg for £2900. I've logged on tonight to change DD in flight meals to vegetarian and saw the outward upgrade was £600 for all of us. I clicked through to see the grand total and it added £1,100 on but didn't give any kind of breakdown - can anyone explain this??

Thanks

Lynn

Has the base price also gone up since you booked? They might consider it as a new booking :confused3

If I remember correctly, that is the total of all your upgrades, not what you need to pay today. You can call the airline directly, we did this and they were really helpful

It said to pay now £1,100. I work in accounts and couldn't make any sense of the price listing on the right of the screen. I wondered if it was with fees or taxes added on but the page where you upgrade said the amount per person and then total to pay = £600. I might call them later.

Had another go from work and the original listing only shows the price as a total, which is all paid (£2900). When I click through on the upgrade it then shows all prices on the right which includes the £600 outward upgrade but also shows the £500 return upgrade which we already have, but those two figures together do work out at £1100! I think a phone call is in order if I do decide to upgrade this afternoon!
