Upgrade on Priceline bid

Does anyone know if you can upgrade to concierge level with Starwood points if you get your room thru a bid on Priceline?

I do not think you will have a problem. I am Platinum Starwood and got an upgrade for no points on a Priceline bid in Texas. What hotel are you staying at the Dolphin ? I would just call the hotel and ask. I wrote an email to Starwood and was told I would still be entitled to an upgraded room no matter what rate I paid....

Thanks for the reply. We are actually staying at the Sheraton Bal Harbour at Miami Beach for 3 days to go to the Patriots game in Oct. Got the room on Priceline for $55, looks great. We have upgraded to concierge at the Dolphin with points in the past, but that room was booked thru the hotel.
