Upgrade my ticket

I've got a question I hold a Fl.
Silver AP it will renew in June of 2017. Its payed for in full and I was thinking of upgrading it to the Fl. Platinum Pass that has no black out dates. On the price difference will they let me make payments on the different in price. Or do I have to pay the difference in full at time of upgrade.

Upgrading from one AP type to another must be paid in full.

An exception MIGHT be if you had bought/activated the Silver pass less than 14 days ago and paid in full. The computer might let us do the upgrade on payments in that instance, but I'm not sure, I've never had reason to try it.
