Upgrade Canadian tickets to AP?

Hi all,

We have friends who are joining us on our Disney trip next spring. They are Canadian and have purchased the discounted Canadian resident tickets from the Disney website. Does anyone know if these tickets are able to be upgraded to an AP and if so what the value is toward an upgrade (is it gate price or the discounted price)

Don't know if they can but in every case I have seen you get the value for what you pay. Likely no chance of getting a discount on the AP.

Tickets bought at a discount directly from Disney get credit for the lower, discounted price. DLR does not price bridge like WDW does but if they did , it would only have been for tickets bought at authorized resellers.

Disney knows what they sold their discounted tickets for...
