I was so excited to get the flaming window. So I put the code in and it said the code you just typed doesn't match any of our secret codes - please check it and try again.

SO I did and the next time the screen froze kinda went dull. I tried again and nothing.

My question is

Is it even worth writing VMK to tell them my code did not work. And any suggestions on how to write it so it I do not get the lame thing of you already got it. Because maybe when my vmk screen went faint it went through but it is not in my inventory. We all know the black and white responses we get from VMK.

So sad. Being in Canada I do not get to Disney but once a year and we all know how disneyshopping rips off the Canadian in shipping.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
 
Yes Belle, you should write VMK. Let them know the code and tell them what happened. They will fix it for you. :)
 
aww that's bad. Fortunately for me when i bought cards they worked (if your wondering they were a bird hat and fire wall.)
 

Sorry your code didn't work. Yes, it is a good idea to send it into Contact Us. I hope VMK can fix it for you :)
 
make sure u didnt confuse 2 letters it took me at least 6 tries to get my red space magic to 3work :)
 
Yes, send the info. into Contact Us for starters, but be prepared to call VMK too. I had a messed up code issue with a Galleon Chair and went back and forth with the black hole in the most aggravating of fashions ("We feel our last response has answered your question, so your request for help has been closed" over and over and over again! :sad2: :rolleyes: ) and eventually wound up only getting it fixed by leaving a message with VMK, someone calling back, and then getting it fixed while on the phone with them.

A lot of work to get one virtual chair, but those pins and cards cost real "credits," so you better believe I wasn't going to stop nagging until it got fixed.
 
I wrote them so if I get the typical response I will call them. And I am sure it is not a toll free number so it will cost me probably as much for the pin as I am in Canada.
 
That exact thing happened to a friend of mine. She called and spoke to someone who was able to resolve it for them. I would not mess with writing the black hole but would call and try to get it. Especially since this is something you purchased. Good luck getting it fixed. :)

Try your code again but keep in mind that 8 and B can be confused, and G and 6. Try different combinations

post in Magic kingdom.
It is for the flaming window.Why is this important to me. I live in Canada and only get to Disney
once a year. To buy it on Disney Shopping they charge $35.00 just to ship
one box of pins.

So frustrating this is not a virtual prize as such I payed for this pin and the code is part of the pin.
 
You need to send another message to Contact Us providing them with the information VMK_Shorty sent you in the email. Exact code you typed in, what message you received, where you received the code from, and what the code is supposed to give.

Once you give them this information, they will be able to look in the system to see if the code truly is supposed to work. :)

I guess it is. Oops! :Do. Anyway, what Shorty says is true. Just provide him all the info he asks of you. ;)
 
I also have a code that does not work. It is for a mickey TV. I used the contact button for a code that does not work about three weaks ago. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for them to get back to you? Also If I did want to call them about it where would I find the number. Thanks
 
I have a Pirate Q card that is BLANK! No code at all!!! LOL I didnt even have a chance to mess it up! Now that stinks!

I didn't know you could buy codes still in the MK. What all can you buy and where can you buy them?
 
Belle, I am sorry. VMK_Shorty is not a robot, but I think he has a 1st grade education combined with ADHD and an I don't give a flip attitude.

Every response I have seen of his is proof time and time again that he does not know how to read. (maybe I should send him a See Spot Run book) It is also proof time and time again that he could care less.....especially in your case where you gave him all of the information upfront. It appears to be 100% pure laziness.

It took me placing a call and receiving a call from Vince to get my situation resolved. It was resolved in a matter of minutes.

Good luck with it and if you would like, I will gladly make the long distance call on your behalf and request that "you" get a call back. I promise not to prank you at 2 AM. :rotfl:

Sad to say I have been the same place as you are now.
I wrote to VMK about 2 card codes that didn't work. I provided them with every kind of information they could hope to want on the situation:
day of visit to the park
what I bought
how much it cost
code
etc, etc, etc
I never got an answer to any of 27 emails on the same subject and same code. I had to revisit the park (spenting more money to do so) to get any help at all.

Other times I have got an email from VMK about something in the game and the person answering my email must have been a grade 1 moron because their answer didn't even come close to answering my original email.
