UPDATED: WDW Christmas Parade taping..da..da..da..daaa (Nov 9 through 13: See POST 80 and 115)

My 4 year old ran into the 7 Super girls at AK a few times yesterday and took some photos with them I had no idea who they were, and still don't. apparently they are big on the interwebz

I'm heading out to the taping today. I'm wearing a purple trooper Rogue One shirt, and Jedi Mickey hat. If you see me come say hi. My "shift" starts at 11, I'm really hoping for something SW related

We saw them (Julianne & Derek) last night as well. We had already planned months ago to come up today to HS but my daughters friends waited for 4 hours in the very front of the castle. We found a hotel, left home at 4 and was up by the castle at 6:30. They let my daughter go up with her friend and (us parents) stayed back. It was a long wait for them to get started but after a few takes my daughter was sending me phone pics and all the people around me were looking and a worker said that my daughter must be right in front and I replied that she was. For the last few takes she asked if I wanted to go up with them since lots of people were leaving and she was in front and easy to get to. So another great taping and this time right in front and center with Julianne & Derek.

Heard One Republic at Hollywood today. We are wearing Star Wars tees and my daughter and friend in Star Wars dresses so hoping something Star Wars. I really do not care and just extremely thankful for what we have seen!

I am told it is Jordan Fisher who is in Liv & Maddie and Teen Beach Movie. Also in Hamilton.

I saw some of the filming last night. They had two giant extender platforms with cameras filming the lighting of the castle.

Age is not the problem.

These days, the entire music and entrainment business is totally stratified.
The days of everyone knowing the "famous names" is simply long-gone.

It also doesn't help that on these shows, Disney traditionally presents some "talent" that they happen to be pushing within the current 6 month period...
many of them are never heard from again.

Oh yeah, last nights' late evening taping with Julianne and Derek Hough that we watched, was in front of the big Christmas tree up front with the castle in the way background. So you couldn't see the tree in the shot as they were facing the Xmas tree.

Haha but true. I did know most after my daughter showed me pics or played a song.

No kidding, you got that right. I remember when I was a younger I was dying to go and see the taping of the Christmas parade. I had no idea that it was this weekend. So it was a pleasant surprise to see the stage and cameras all set up. Funny thing was when ever I saw someone on stage I had to ask around then google whoever it was because I had no clue to who they were.

Another successful day on the tapings. Was heading to Rock n Rollercoaster and girls ran into Issac somebody from Stuck in the Middle and he took pics. Then we saw Jordan Fisher perform but were on the side. My husband was a good sport and waited in the 2 hour wait for Alessia Cara and girls got to be at the right side of stage. So not only did they get to see her sing, they got high fives from Julianne who was presenting and on their side of the stage. Then we hear "also Sofia Carson" will be presenting. She was behind us and after the show was taking pics. So this is how we got to end our taping adventures with a picture with Sofia Carson. This has been 3 days that will never be forgotten.
