Stage is up with blue and silver trees, looks nice. There was someone in the security area with a sign about the taping but haven't seen anything else yet. In line for peter pan as this is our last mk day.

There are people in front of the stage now like it may be starting soon. Still no other info or sure its starting soon but it seems like something will happen soon so we're going to wait a bit before leaving for dhs.

Thanks so much. This doesn't sound at all like the posted schedule. Ughhh, not sure whether to go up tomorrow or not. I figured tapings would start in the morning.

This was what we heard from a cm for today. Doesn't mean tomorrow will be the same.

Productions of this nature are always subject to change. One year, my DD was into Hannah Montana, we came at our assigned time and had to wait 3 hours for the actual taping to start. I believe this also happened with Arianna Grande.

I gave my tickets for tonight to a couple of co-workers. I didn't sleep well last night and had "real life" to attend to today, and I just don't feel magical enough to want to be in MK for something like this. Plus I traded shifts with someone for tomorrow and now I go into work at 7am.

I guess I'll catch it all on TV when it airs!

Ugh... sorry! Hopefully tomorrow is a better day. We are still debating if we want to buy park tickets for Saturday or not hoping to get some updates by Friday so we can make a decision on spending the money.

Decisions, decisions!!! One more factor, I will have to push a wheelchair around. My daughter has a muscle strain on her knee from dance and has to stay off of it. Spent 2 hours in the ER today. On a good note, she now has an excuse for missing first Nutcracker rehearsal and a light load at school tomorrow. I guess we should just try it. Worst thing is that we spend a day at Disney. Need to go see if I can easily find the holiday gear.

So as far as we know from the "schedule". Possibly taping at MK in morning and early afternoon and Epcot late afternoon? Also do I need to rent 2 wheelchairs or can we just get an exchange when we get to Epcot? Can't even believe I am considering this. I am 2 hours away. Thanks to all who have updated this post.

It was crazy pants tonight!!! We got there around 6:30p.m. Trying to leave Main Street around 9:00pm was ridiculous!!! We couldn't even move. Tons of people still entering the park when we left. We got to see/hear Garth & Trisha for a bit, so that was neat.

some updates for the AK taping on Saturday
On Saturday, Nov. 12, filming will take place in front of the Tree of Life. A stage will be loaded and set up prior to 10:30 a.m.

• 11 a.m.: First wave of audience members arrive through Main Entrance
• 12:30 p.m.: Sound check and first performance filming
• 3 p.m.: Sound check and second performance filming
• 4 p.m.: Second wave of audience members arrive through Main Entrance
• 5 p.m.: Production crew meal break in Dino Lounge
• 6 p.m.: Sound check and third performance filming
• 7:30 p.m.: Production wraps

• “Winged Encounters” will not have any performances, although there may be a surprise and delight rope drop appearance
• “Viva Gaia,” “Sunset Serenatas,” and “Discovery Island Carnivale” will not perform
• Wilderness Explorers flamingo badge will move to a nearby location, away from the covered area
• Tarzan will continue to greet, but will not have an alternate location for inclement weather
• Disney PhotoPass will have a different location near the Tree of Life

I can't find the post.. but does anyone know what's going on and when today and tomorrow? We caught Flo Rida and Boyz 2 Men last night. It was pretty cool, especially when the crowd cleared around 11.
