I am glad you had so much fun. I think my next trip after Thanksgiving is slated for mid-June. I have a conference to go to in Orlando, so I am going to stay an extra four days. i know it will be hot, but I think I have the touring down to a Science... lol.. I guess you are opting not to go in the summer next year?

I just wanted to let you know that I am working my way backwards through your TR's. I'm reading you 2007 solo one right now. You have totally inspired me (if I ever have the money and time away from my job/family) to take one of my own. How liberating it must be to follow your own desires and not worry about what others want/need.

I also wanted to tell you that I LOVE the nativity figures you purchased in Mexico. They are beautiful.

I'm so sorry you got so miserably sick. In June, 7 of the 15 of us got the stomach flu. The kids bounced back pretty quickly but the adults, myself included, really stuggled to get back up and going. Luckily, we were offsite for a week and had only planned 4 parks days in that time so I only missed 1 day in the end.

And I was CRUSHED reading about Larry, what a great opportunity to meet a fellow Dis and AKV lover and you were too sick to grab it. Any Larry sightings since then?

Hi Glendamax. I've only made it through the first page of your report, but I love the pictures of my kids. I showed my DS and he said, "I like her and her mother. They're nice." We are loosely planning to return next Sept. and booked the bounceback . I would love to officially meet up next year - maybe for lunch or a dole whip or something!

Sorry I missed you at Y & Y. We found a seat around back. The seating wasn't too great - not enough shade and it was HOT! Of course this was the hottest food of our trip -took forever to get cool enough to eat . We were suffering a little bit! I bit into a very hot pepper on my first bite and was terrified that the whole meal was going to be that spicy! Actually, I agree with you - the food was OK. I'm not sure we'll do that one again - guess it depends on what we're in the mood for.

I feel for you with your BF drama surrounding your trip - a couple years ago I went to POFQ with my boyfriend and then he broke up with me two days after we got back! It sure made writing the trip report I had already started really hard...not to mention all the pictures from the trip that I ended up throwing away!
Your room at AKL looks wonderful - I love the tiled scene in the shower! I have just read your first post so far and am off to read more

I hope we do get a chance to hook up next year. If I go back in September though, it'll be BEFORE Sept.9, so I can use my Annual Pass.

Yak and Yeti - yes it was weird to eat HOT food in the HOT sun! I think the next time I'll eat somewhere else.

BTW...DH & I went to MNSSHP on 9/23 and it!!!!! We went "trick or treating" and brought home LOTS of candy!!! The parade was definitely my favorite part!!!
