All the food we had on our 7 nights trip in September that I can remember! Disappointments, highlights and everything in between. For reference, we had the DDP for myself, hubby and 6 yr old. Let’s go!

Gaston’s Tavern: the famous cinnamon roll was…. Just meh in my opinion. Cinnabun is way yummier. Also tried that cheese and ham pastry thing - surprisingly very good!

Crystal palace: Overall 8/10. Characters were super cute. We got a table next to the windows on the right overlooking the pond/river which was nice. Great service. It’s buffet food, nothing stood out but everyone found something they liked and we left with full bellies and happy hearts.

Topolino’s breakfast: AMAZING! can’t recommend enough. Everything was top notch: service, food, characters, views. We lucked out and got a table by the windows with spectacular views!

Sebastian’s Bistro (at our resort,CBR): Our server AJ was super sweet. Inside atmosphere of the restaurant felt calming and the decor is also rather soothing if that makes sense, maybe it’s the colour palette. I’d say the food was good, but they bring out so much of it (family style) that we felt bad wasting a good portion of it. It’s a good price though for the amount of food you get.

Satuli Canteen: That noodle bowl! I think about it way more often than I care to admit. Super tasty. Lots of indoor seating too. A solid choice for something different at a quick service location.

Sci Fi Dinner: Our 6 year old loved sitting in those cars, but thought the retro movies were scary haha. It’s a cool setting for sure. Food is just fine, burgers and fries. It’s definitely unique so glad we did it.

Ohana: Listen up, I was super excited to get a reservation here. We lucked out again and got seated next to the big window facing their main pool which was super cool. The noodles were yummy, and the pot stickers too. The rest was just ok in my opinion. Again, we felt bad with the amount of food they brought out and we didn’t eat. I’ll say the service was great, so was the live singer with the banjo. But I’ll be honest, if I had to pay out of pocket for this one, I’d be a bit disappointed. It definitely was not a highlight like I thought it would be.

Cosmic rays: nothing special here, but good location, lots of seating. Convenient location too.

CRT: Obviously a highlight for us. Meeting Cinderella in the lobby was magical; she was amazing and got my shy 6 year old to laugh. We got seated right in the middle of the room which might not be ideal for some but I was taking it all in and it was just incredible. The princesses (Jasmine, Merida, Ariel and Aurora) were all lovely, but Merida was especially delightful and light up the room. The food. Omg. One of the best filet mignon I have ever had (hubby agrees). So juicy and tender, pretty much melted in your mouth. All the deserts were also very nice.

Les Halle’s: Got a few things from there which were all fresh, tasty and authentic to a real French bakery.

La Cantina San Angel: actually pretty good food for a quick service. And it’s nice that you can sit inside the table service restaurant during lunch time for some AC.

Marketplace (quick service at CBR): We ate here a few times during our trip and it was always very tasty. The pulled pork burger was my favourite. Hubby enjoyed the fish tacos and the half chicken meal. It’s nice to have other option than burgers and fries at a quick service.

I’m sure we had other snacks and beverages throughout the week. Actually the Joffreys iced coffee we had quite a few times and loved it!

Thanks for reading, hopes this helps someone in one way or another. Feel free to judge my opinions if you think I am way off haha 😉

Think you did well written reviews of family oriented restaurants.
Glad you enjoyed yourselves overall and hope you get to visit again👍🏾

I am not a fan of AYCTE, we don't have big appetites, but sometimes wished to eat at certain places for a particular dish they serve. We are paying for food we won't eat, and worse, food that may be wasted.

Guys, I lied. We are going back next September. So not our only trip :p
I thought we were going to be one and done. I'm now in the beginning stages of planning our 7th trip. It's addictive. But I love it so much!

Last year's "one and only trip" turned out to be the first of probably many ;)

Just got back from a mother/daughter (7) trip and it was amazing! We had a very different approach compared to last year's trip when we had the DDP. This time we focused more on snacks and small meals which I think I much preferred. Here are some highlights:

El Mercado (Quick service at Coronado Springs Resort): It's basic, but gets your fed. Nothing really stood out to us here but the space itself is lovely and lot of choices. Every CM we encountered was courteous and friendly. We ate here several times, especially for breakfast and late lunch/early dinners

Siestas Cantina (pool bar/restaurant by the main pool): You have to try the quesadilla here - so yummy and fresh! Daughter had the kids cheeseburger and it was way better than the one at the main food court of the resort. Service was quick and friendly.

MK - THE spring rolls: They were... ok. They weren't bad but I will not go out of my way again to get them.

MK - Cream Cheese filled Pretzel: It is officially my daughter's favorite snack. She had it last time and demanded we get it again. I agree that it is tasty, filling and easy to eat while walking around. It's from the little place below Astro Orbiter...

MK - Rapunzel Sundae from Storybook Treats - super tummy, although I found that the cake at the bottom added nothing to it, probably would have been better without it.

AK - Chicken fried rice from Yak & Yeti: The "snack" version was enough for me as a quick lunch and for something like 8$, can't go wrong. Very tasty and again, easy to eat while walking around.

AK - Iced Chai from Royal Anandpur Tea Company: Loved it!

EPCOT - Les Halles: You really can't go wrong here. We had the ham and cheese croissant - so buttery and delicious. Also the pesto chicken sandwich - the bread was so fresh!!

EPCOT - Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe: We tried the cinnamon bun with orange cream cheese frosting. My lord. So good - much much much better than the one at Gaston's Tavern (which I find so dry and overhyped). Paired with the Kristoff Kaffe (essentially a blended iced coffee) - really tasty as well.

EPCOT - La Creperie de Paris: went in without a reservation around 3pm - the place was practically empty. Our server was top notch and the food delicious. Daughter had the sweet crepe with chocolate and whipped cream and I had the savory one with goat cheese, spinach, walnuts and honey. It was divine. We will be back here for sure! It's such a delicious meal, not too heavy, it was perfect! Oh and the cider was nice too!

We had other basic things like popcorn, ice coffees, slushies etc. throughout our week too.

I hope someone finds this helpful in some way :)
