Updated Character Pricing

Hey guys!!

I'm looking for the most recent up to date pricing for characters for the receptions. We are having the smaller wishes option and finally are a month away from the real planning with DFTW, after all this waiting, yay!!!

Anyway I could have sworn I saw on there somewhere a thread with up to date pricing for characters but now I can't find it, I've searched and searched. So I called DFTW and the person that answered said she thinks it's $1150 per character. Now, last I had read it was $1400ish for both Minnie and Mickey but maybe I am wrong or it's increased significantly within the past couple of months???

So does anyone have any updated info on character pricing? We're looking to book Minnie and Mickey together for the 30 minute increment. TIA!!

Hmm yes that's the price I was told too when I talked to Carrie on these boards (who's awesome!) a few months back in 2015 but it sounds like more recently it may have changed unless the person on the other line was wrong... Curious if anyone has the most current up to date pricing? Current brides? I could've sworn I saw someone put the new pricing into a thread but I don't see it anywhere. No big deal if not, I'll find out next month just didn't find this info on here so I thought I'd try to track it down and hey maybe it'll help someone else who try's to search for this then

The current pricing is $1,150 for the first character + $500 for each additional character at the same appearance. So for Mickey and Minnie it's $1,650. If you want the whole Fab Five, it's $3,150.

Ah that makes sense! The woman on the phone didn't say the second character was cheaper she thought each was $1150 but as I know take everything with a grain of salt with those who first answer the phones. Thank you for this update it is much appreciated as always!!

Out of curiousity, if you get all of the fab 5, will they all come together at once or do they have to switch off? -- What is their attire also? I know I've seen Mickey and Minnie in a few different attires for different weddings.... Is that something you chose too?

That pricing structure is for having all the characters at once. If you want them to arrive at different times, you have to pay the initial $1150 all over again for the first one, $500 for the second, etc.

You can choose their attire to a certain extent—there's no official list of all outfits, and sometimes people get denied requests for more obscure ones, but your planner can send you photos of the most readily available (classic, purple dress for Minnie, yellow/gold, fancy white dress for Minnie and black tux for Mickey, etc.).

There are combination rules for characters too - we are having Donald and Buzz but they are not allowed to appear together so one will come after the other.

Makes sense, though I would love an interaction between Mary Poppins and the Little Mermaid or Tarzan.
