I was so relieved to read this and find out that you had arrived!!!

I couldn't help but think of you more than once in the last couple of days, wondering how you had got on.

I do hope you continue to have a lovely time, your first few days sound lovely and good on you for 'going for it' with the children when it is such a big trip.

Tara, yes we got the extra OBC! DU informed us via email when we hadn't received anything by mail. We're also paid in full now so we're super duper excited!! I also managed to finalised our transport bookings in Barcelona so that's another thing out of the way! Who did you go with in the end?

Just curious... We are scheduled for the Aug 5th Med cruise and have not received anything regarding our OBC. Was this extra OBC a special promotion? Or do we have to ask for it?

THe OBC was something they announced for people who booked before a certain date (I think Oct or Nov 09) for the cruises. We received a letter but we got it quite a bit later than everyone else.

Not at all!

I really think it's driver dependent. Both drivers were local to their area so knew alot about the various sites and attractions. They were also both flexible to what we wanted to do with regard to timing and what we wanted to see.

Our driver at Naples, Paolo, was really warm and lovely. We clicked well from the beginning. There was nothing wrong with our driver in Rome, but we just had different sense of humour. He did show us quirky things that I had never read about or heard about from other's trips/trip reports. So that was cool. He was still polite and friendly.

Marco, who owns the agency and handles the correspondance price etc seems lovely as well. He always replied promptly and answered the questions I asked.

We are a family of five living in Newcastle(3 boys 6,8,10). Having just returned from a WDW extravaganza in April, we are now looking at a Mediteranian cruise in August 2011. Did you book direct with Disney or use an agent. What about travel insurance?

Welcome back! HOw did you enjoy WDW world? We're very excited about our Dec trip. Where did you stay?

We booked our cruise through Dreams Unlimited for our med cruise and with Small world vacations for our Panama Canal cruise, mainly for the extra onboard credit. We bought our own travel insurance (covermore) via flight centre (where we bought our flights from) as we had vouchers to use.
