Someone over at the Canadian boards I believe, had their daughter win a $500 shopping spree at WDW. Her six year old daughter shared it with her four year old sister, they basically went nuts.

... I know in addition to the fast passes (one fast pass for each ride with fast pass in which ever park it is given), and ears they do have lanyards, and pins and of course eventually the night in the park...

Of course I haven't seen the lanyards...

The lanyards are very wide. Each lanyard comes with the 2 pins. 1 pin has Mickey and Minnie, the other has Donald and Goofy. Everyone in your party gets a lanyard with pins if that is the "dream" that is granted.

I do not have the lanyard, but I am the proud owner of BOTH pins as I was able to find the 2 pins on cast lanyards and traded for them. It seems that a husband and wife were granted a Lanyard / Pin dream. He does not colect pins, but she does. They traded 1 of each of their "Dream" pins for some other pins the wife wanted.

I happened to come upon the cast member about 5 minutes late and spotted the YOAMD pins on her lanyard.

oh I so forgot about the tink pins ( one you keep one you give away) was presented with four sets during my stay , for helping out other guests which I did pass on to four other guests, and was able to trade for both dream lanyard pins while there so guess I did have some magical dream moments

According to the official rules, it ends on December 31, 2007.

By the way, Groovydolly, UK is allowed to send in mail-in entries. You have a different address than us, but you can. Check the offical rules for what you need to do and where to send them.

OK, so can you put the postcard into an envelope and mail it? The rules just state to send the info on a postcard. I would have a problem mailing a postcard with all that personal info on it.

I put the index card into the envelope. We won. So, I would say they are accepting that. I chose not to do the postcard thing for privacy reasons, just as you expressed!

Oh! I forgot to mention...our dog had a magical moment as well a few weeks ago on one of our day trips lol. We boarded her at animal kingdom's kennel and when we picked her up there was a bag waiting for us -- she won a few toys and got a certificate. Woot for our doggie!

Dara ~ Those ears are so cool. Congrats! VirtuallyMe and I were lucky enough to get a dream (pass) granted to us when we were down there. Someone offered us those ears in exchange. It was difficult to say no, but we were on a time crunch that day. Most awesome for you! They are so pretty...I am green with envy.

My DH was home early today and the mail person pulls up. Has two boxes in her hands sent certified that require signatures. The return label says Walt Disney World Resort. Very light boxes, but about the size of a toaster.

DH waited until I got home, and we opened them! We both won Year of a Million Dreams Hats!

So very cool. We'll be able to wear them when we go next December!

Woot!

Here's a funny aside for you: It cost Disney almost $7 to send each box, probably twice what the hats cost them!

No wonder it costs so much to stay there! If they spend that kind of money on postage, good grief!

We won the Mickeys Magical Dream Ride...we were on our way to downtown disney and we were wondering if we should take a bus or drive. So we decided to take the bus and than this van pulled up and asked us if we wanted a ride and we said yes "He was the president of transportation at Animal Kingdom" so we got in and we got a dream gifted.
