Update: What we decided to do!

First, thank you for everyone's thoughtful responses! It's always difficult for me to make decisions like this, but after reading all the posts, I feel much better.

We decided to GO!! We are definitely doing AsMo, and my mom asked if she could come too, so we are getting two rooms, which will be nice for Dh and I since she'll take our boys a few nights

Also, our best friends decided that this deal was too good for THEM to pass up, so they are coming too!! None of our kids know about it and we are trying not to tell them until the day before we leave. We don't want anyone unfocused those first few weeks of school.

I have been watching airfare and will continue to watch it for a while until I feel it's "right". We are leaning towards SW, but I need to check flights from Harrisburg (thanks to the poster who recommended that...I forgot all about Harrisburg and it's not a far trek for us!)

So that's it in a nutshell! It'll be a happy birthday for DH for sure!!!

Yayyy Marcy! We surpised our kids too with our upcoming trip. But we did tell them last week. We only decided to go on Memorial weekend when we found our DVCers were going... We are tagging along and all I doo all day is plan plan plan. Cannot wait!

Good to know you will have a "built in babysitter" for a few nights and some rest.
