I'm so glad that she's home!!!! I have to tell you--yesterday it took me quite some time to even get up the nerve to even click on your thread. I get so worked up over lost pet posts, etc. I always feel so bad for the owners and the pets, not to mention the fact that I put myself in the shoes of the poster and imagine how I would feel if it were me. So I live though each of these tough stories. I have to quit taking it so personally! I am happy that yours has a happy ending!

LOL Tigger and Belle I am the same way. I get so invested on other people's stories. I kept checking back on this thread all day. I was so excited to read she is home this morning I told my husband and he gave me a speech about getting so caught up. This is the "real world" for me. I am home all day with two - four smelly and adorable little boys and the internet is my way of not going nuts for lack of adult conversation!

You are one step ahead of me... I don't even tell my DH stories like this. When Poohandwendy's cat died I couldn't even tell him that story even though I wanted to because I knew I'd lose it. He knew about the pregnant cat that she'd found this summer so it would be a logical story to tell him, but it was so sad that I knew I wouldn't be able to get through it without tearing up. I am such a softy! When this thread came on the boards I kept scrolling down as fast as I could when I could see there wasn't a happy update. I am a sad, strange little woman! (well, not that little)
