Not to me, that has to be a mis-print, but that a horrible thing to mis-print when you are going by that description to find that little girl

Wow, I just read that article. It says she is 8 years old and weighs between 25-30 pounds and is 3 feet tall? That just doesn't sound right.

I hope she is found safe and sound.

I'm wondering if it was a translation issue - it says the girl speaks Korean, so one can assume there's a pretty good chance the parents do as well.

Honestly, I don't know any kids this age right now. My son is 14... I don't know what the average height and weight would be for an 8 year old girl. I just hope they find her before it's too late!

My daughter is 7 and almost weighs over 70 pounds, but she pretty tall for her age as well

How do they know he asked her to come see a puppy???? That must mean someone heard this older man ask a young girl to come see a puppy?
Right or wrong, if I heard someone asking a small child anything like that I would step in and ask if they were the child's parent and ask the child if they knew the person.

An average kid would weigh much more, I was just saying it wasn't impossible, or necessarily due to neglect.

Oh I agree! At the same time I don't know how a stranger could have over heard an older man asking a young child to come see a puppy and not intervened in some way. That was literally the scenario on every "stranger danger" video ever shown!

This is very very very very close to my house. The girl's sister heard the guy ask her about the puppy. Since English isn't their native language, I am betting she didn't realize the implications of "want to see a puppy".

This place where she was abducted from is next to a strip club.

I would be willing to bet that a slimeball from in there got trashed, stumbled to in front of the laundromat, and iiiiiccccckkkkk....decided to take the little girl...seeing as he was probably drunk and turned on.

I am 10000% certain he is a local, neighborhood guy...that end of the city...his description matches how the guy look over there...mullet, etc.

I pray they find her soon. It's so odd that this is happening so close to me. Very scary, too...

Based on the picture, I highly doubt she is only 25lbs. I think it was a misprint. Never the less, I hope this turns out well. Poor little girl.
