I hope they come down- we could fly to Europe or these opening day direct flights.

We booked a cruise leaving MLK weekend without realizing the dates. Prices to fly down are crazy. We didn't book and are actually considering canceling the cruise. We can't move the cruise to another week because prices have went up on that like crazy. I am keeping watch to see if they go down. Our flights for August haven't dropped at all since opening day.

Doubt our flights are going to drop - the entire column of Wanna Get Away fares is one big box that says "unavailable".

I booked our return flights for $106 ( one ticket I used SW points ). Could have gotten $89 flight but chose to leave later in the day. I'm happy with these prices and from BWI rarely are ever cheaper.

Thanks for letting us know Southwest floated out new rates today, July 12. As I mentioned above, in Chicago waiting usually pays off. Today flights went from being $162 each way to $99 each way for the time we want in late January. In essence, a $63 drop each way after five days. I wonder why Southwest does that. It had to know when it released the original rates on July 7 that it was going to slash them five days later.

Sorry you didn't do so well. Our price went from $300 to 201 each for our eight tickets. That's round trip from PHL

And we JUST NOW added on one night to that trip - the flights on the next day were $74 for ONE but $79 for two. So I at least kept the same price. Bummed I couldn't grab the $74 for one of us tho.
