UPDATE: Prayers for a fellow camping family

Just a quick post to let everyone know that your prayers are working! Joan was in the hospital going through chemo. She got to come home a few days, started running a temp and had to go back in. She had an infection where her port is. They moved the port, but she still has run a temp on and off. Yesterday they did another bone marrow test, the results were just given to her and she is in remission. This is the first thing that needs to happen in order for things to proceed. Then the doctor told her that they have a match with one of her sisters for the marrow. I don't know anything more than that right now, but things are looking up for them and our family appreciates so much all the prayers from everyone!

That is such good news! I'm glad to hear her sister is a match and especially happy to hear she's in remission. Are they rescheduling her trip for when she has her energy back and things get back to normal?

After we get things somewhat normal and she is feeling up to it....We will be going! Most likely 08, When ? time will tell. We have one hellofa hill to climb.
We will find out more this week on bone marrow operation, they were talking Oct. sometime as they wanted to give her time with the kids. Once she has the bone marrow she will be in complete isolation for a month.NO KIDS! Must be at least 14years. Our guys are 4 and 6. We did promise our 6 yr old that we would go as son as mommy felt up to it.
