The Orlando Sentinel has posted an update on the Four Seasons Resorts including a video. Looks like there will spectacular views from the rooms.

~This is just fabulous! I cannot wait to stay here. I love the design aesthetic applied to the guest rooms -- every painstaking detail is carefully appointed -- and those colors totally appeal to me. :cloud9:

~It's like falling asleep inside of a giant Tiffany's box. :cloud9: It's only fitting -- just in case, I dream of all those fabulous diamonds & gems in that mine! :cool2:

Will this be an official disney world resort?
It's built in the golden oak district. It's on Disney property but will be run by the four seasons it's a four seasons resort. I'm not sure if Disney will put it on their website like the swan and dolphin.

:thumbsup2 The Four Seasons won't hurt reservations at WDW onsite resorts-it will compete with the top deluxe offsite resorts like the Waldorf Astoria and Ritz Carlton for the number one best hotel title.
~It's astonishing, how Disney's top flagship hotels never make number 1, 2 or 3.

~I think the Animal Kingdom Lodge beat the Waldorf Astoria & Ritz Carlton once or twice in the past for number one resort -- but AKL's rooms are too small for a true deluxe.

~I totally agree that the Four Season's Orlando will be a top contender for the number one spot and finally give those hotels some real competition. :lmao:

~I'm sorry it won't. It was a very wise decision for Disney not to allow this -- sux for me, though. :(

~Unfortunately, the Four Season does not have the arrangement that the Swan and Dolphin does. I doubt this will ever happen. :(

Looks like another hotel/resort I'll never get to stay in unless I win the lottery. And since I don't play the lottery... ;)

Pretty, though.

Looks awesome. :thumbsup2

But might as well be 10 miles away, if no walking to at least one park were out. Could be gold and diamond plated throughout-not interested.

Now if the build the Villains Park next to it-WE ARE IN FOR SURE, at least a few nights. :cool1:

~Awww, this is very defeatist. :( If you *really* want to stay here, you know you can. :goodvibes

Ok...astonishing how...exactly?
~Hey there, lockedout. I don't know exactly why -- it just is, especially for what Disney charges for deluxe/DVC rooms.

~Disney resorts have location, unique themes, fabulous pools but the rooms fall short and I guess there's no golf course and the Concierge is not quite up to par with the other offsite resorts. I guess the astonishing part is why Disney doesn't have to, at least try. Disney really doesn't need the recognition. :( :goodvibes

Is this going where the Osprey Ridge Golf Course had been? Noticed a lot of tree and brush clearing going on there and the area is now fenced off.
