Update on refunds

Hi everyone:

I just wanted to update all of you on the refund situation. We are having an issue with PayPal, as the account was flagged due to "unusual activity". I was told yesterday that it was due to the size of the transfers going back and forth. Something similar to this happened to me back in June, and it was a nightmare getting it worked out. I faxed the info they requested yesterday (proof of ownership, bank statements, incorporation papers, etc), and hope to hear back from their investigation dept on Monday.

In the interim, if there is anyone who absolutely needs their refund right away, please email me at webmaster@wdwinfo.com I can facilitate some refunds from my own pocket right now, while we wait for PayPal to get straigtened out.

Also, I'm very sorry that I was not at the Illuminations party last night, but I've been having major problems with a stomach virus since last Wednesday (ruined my Thanksgiving). I figured that no one wanted what I had, so I felt it better to stay home.

I'll keep everyone posted as info becomes available.

Last nights WDW Epcot's Illuminations was wonderful. It is amazing how much different that the show looks from the perspective of the French Island, at water level, uncrowded, lots of desserts.

You know that I can't put you on my list of meeting you unless I actually see you and give you hug.

I started very slow last Friday by meeting one person, disneycub at the airport and then other DISers each day.

First, I just checked of there name on the list that Towncrier made with each persons first real name next to their DIS internet name...and, of course, I must give them a hug to make it for real.

I've met, hugged, and checked on my list over 60 DISers so far.

I had to start using dates by their name instead of checks, because I couldnt keep up with all the names and when and where that I met them...lol.

Thursday, it rained and I got behind in my list. And now I'm trying to add the DIS-buddies to those that are representing them. And after seeing so many DISers last night at Illuminations...I think that I have left about 20 DISers off my wet, damp sheet of paper...and that makes me sad.

It is a bit overwhelming to see so many DISers in one place.

I have had a great time giving everyone rides in my car to different places and seeing everyone.

I am a bit sad that I didn't get to get in the group pictures for the holiday resort tour, or group picture for the Fantasyland tour.

I am really sad about not riding The MK Dumbo ride and the merry-go-round ride as a group. I've only riden them once in my life. But Buzz ligtyear was a blast with everyone and I got to be in their group picture and I scored 230,200 points(instead of 18,000). And we all caught a fish with Brisully...lol...that was a blast. And now I know about tea parties...lol.

I know that I am leaving stuff out, but I am having a great time.

I wouldn't be having this great of a time or meeting all these great friends if you had not invented this web site, Pete.

It all began with a mouse...and for me...getting to meet so many great new friends on your Disney Information Station DISboards.

Without your DIS website, I would not have been able to enhance my enjoyment of WDW.

So the big picture is...Thank you, Pete Werner for creating your DIS place for me to meet so many wonderful people..

And I wish that I could put you on my list of DISers that I have met here at WDW and given you a hug.

Does that make sense?

I should be at Animal Kingdom park, but I keep missing the meeting place with Tia and Barb and Frank,etc... So I guess that I will hang around the resort and take a nap today.

Oh...and that was a computer enhanced picture of me at the HDDMR. No explanation necessary other than I had a great time...lol.

Pete, sorry to read that you have been under the weather, (and for such a LOOOng time!)

Hope you're all better so you can enjoy your masterpiece, DIS CON. I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to attend this year but my mind is on you guys!
Please tell your Mom that I said hello. Remind her that I'm the foster mom. We seemed to have a lot to share last year.

Pete, I don't know who you are except by reputation of course, but I stumbled across this site by accident, and it is now my favourite place on the entire internet. I should also just like to add my thanks to you especially since so many of the wonderful people who spend time on this board stopped by to say hi to my son Simon who is thousands of miles away from home and made his last few weeks at WDW very special for him. I do hope you recover soon.

thanks Nancy, I cannot even keep track of the days of the week any more!!!!

For those that don;t know, my FIL died Nov. 26 very unexpectedly. Things have been very rough at home. I am glad I was able to go to DISCON, but it was a difficult time being away from home and my husband. Now we are dealing with the aftermath and other family issues.
