Update on poster w/ elderly father being scammed?

has the OP posted an update on the father that lived in a different state and was being scammed by an "old friend" and another person??

would like to know how this is going.

i hope the father gets out of this mess.

I haven't seen one yet- I don't think I posted in that thread since I unfortunately didn't have any feedback for the OP, but I sure do hope that things turn out okay for her father.
