Update on our DVC trip to Grand Wailea in Hawaii

The KoOlina is a fantastic resort, and it's location is immaculate... if I were to buy any timeshare in Hawaii, it would probably be there.... great resort...

We've thought about trying that resort. How large are the rooms, how are the restaurants? And most importantly, how are the beach and pool?

The room that we had at the Marriott's Ko Olina was very large and absolutely gorgeous. We had a view of their private lagoon. The pool was very nice and we used the pool bar almost every day for a quick lunch...not too expensive. We had a breakfast plan and loved their daily breakfast buffet.

I'm not sure if you meant the hotel or the timeshare a short distance away. We stayed at the hotel but did visit the timeshare area. It seemed like a fun place...a live band at the outdoor area. We ate at Chuck's Steak House which is on the timeshare property.
