Bri went to her prom and was so beautiful. The dress was perfect. I was able to get an appointment for her hair and with a few suggestions from the girls at work, it was perfect. Another girl at work did her makeup, complete with glitter. I thought it would be too glittery, too much, I don't know, but just too much, but my response was "wow". It was dramatic, but not overly so.
I did take pictures, with a disposable camera that I can get digital pics from. I've got to finish the roll though.
Her date, minus a few piercings, cleaned up really well. A few jaws dropped when they were seen all cleaned up.
BTW, Aquanet was a godsend. Her hair stayed up all night. With the curls, and twists, flowers and even more glitter.
She graduates next week.
Kelsea is wonderful. I couldn't ask for a more perfect kid.
She's away this weekend somewhere around Cleveland with her best friend and her parents.
Her poem won first prize at her school.
Me, I'm doing well. Still taking my antidepressants, some weeks are better than others. When I don't take them, I am worse than any ditzy blonde joke.
So I have to remember to take them. lol
My divorce is almost final, thank goodness. This has gone on long enough. We are getting along, now.
My mother in law has told me more than once that I was her daughter no matter what, crying all the while. She's taking this divorce much harder than anyone.
I'm still working at the mall. The rumors of closing in April were wrong, maybe the other rumors are too.
Anyway, I can't think of anything else. I've been thinking about you all and of course mentioning you in my prayers. {{hugs}}
