I just heard from Lizdotcom99, and she is on her way home after surgery on her ankle. She said the surgery went well, and she sounded great. They had been planning on keeping her in the hospital for a few days, but they didn't have a bed for her, so they are sending her home. She's thrilled about that, and her mom and Greg (aka Jonathan Silverman) are there to wait on her. I told her that Greg better take good care of her, or he'll have to deal with me ;) She was craving grilled cheese and tomato soup, so I hope Greg makes it for her.

Liz hopes to be back on the DIS sometime tomorrow, so let's brighten her day with lots of well wishes for a speedy recovery!

Hope you're up and around real soon, Liz!

Karen

Karen, thanks for that update... I hope she has a good recover at home :)

Thank goodness she got out of the hospital - I always say - a hospital is no place to be if you're sick! (HE-HE - hosp humor!)

Liz needs to remember to let herself be waited on - it's required for her recovery. ;)

I am glad that everything went ok and that she gets to rest at home! :wave2:

Thanks ever so much for the update. I'm sure that she'll recover much more quickly at home.

Thanks for letting us know. I was wondering how she was doing.

Thanks for the update, Karen. I hope Liz is feeling better soon.

Mother got your postcard from WDW--thank you so much!

 Hi Liz!
I'm glad to hear that the surgery went well. You'll be in my prayers for a speedy recovery :flower3: . Take care.

Thanks for the update, Karen.

Thanks for the good update, Karen, that's great, Liz. Home sweet home. Home you are up dancing in no time. :)

Glad to hear everything went well! Thanks for the update and sending her lots of PD!!!:D

Whew! What a relief to hear! I've been thinking about Liz a lot. Now I hope that the pain meds are going to do all that is necessary for the time being. Thanks for letting us know.

Yay!!! You got early release? Well, I'm pretty sure it wasn't for good behavior.

Wait- I'll bet you were pinching the cute doctors on the tushie, and the nurses made them throw your sassy self out, right?

This is such good news, I've been thinking about you... and I'm glad this won't have you in the hospital any longer! Now you can start getting strong, and start PTing the heck out of that troublesome little joint. :)

Glad to hear all went well and now to sit back and get pampered.::yes::

Speedy recovery and lots of Pixie Dust.

Kathy, I can not even believe you would think I was sprung for bad behavior!!!! Sometimes I DO know when to behave!! Besides...Jonathan and my mom were the ones who were gonna get kicked out...they broke all the rules!!!!!!!

I am home resting and it is so good to be home!! Had my grilled cheese and tomato soup and a pain killer! So far so good with the pain! I have had a nerve block and still can't feel a thing as far as pain is concerned...but that will all change later in the day!!!!

Again, thanks for all the well wishes!! You guys are the best!!!

Off to la la land for a while!!

:wave2:

Up and DISing already, Liz? Wow. I'm impressed.

So I just want to get this straight, Liz. It was your mom and Gregathan (I think I have just created a new name for him) who were pinching the doctor's tushies? Not you?

Hope that the pain doesn't get too bad.

Karen
