Update on Inaugural Wish Sailing - Able to add to stateroom

Just an FYI. Capacity must be lowering on the Wish inaugural sailing. Backstory: DW and I had the inaugural Wish sailing for 6/9 booked and we did not take our DD because she had a conflict at that time. To remedy that, we booked another Wish cruise for 7/18 using a past FCC from last year. So, when things changed, we had tried to add our DD to our sailing, since she could go in July (and was already scheduled on the original 7/18 sailing), but DCL was not allowing any new bookings at that time, even in existing staterooms. Well, today, we were able to add our DD to the inaugural, so I believe things are loosening up...

Glad to hear you were able to add your daughter. We were going on the DVC charter right after the Maiden voyage but can’t make the new dates since we already have another one planned. I hope they reopen that to DVC members to book again to fill in the holes from those like us who couldn’t do the new dates. We ended up using the 50% to book the fantasy for the week the wish was supposed to sail in June.

I wonder if they’re going back to fully booking it now that it looks like Covid numbers are continuing to improve.

We used our 50% + an FCC and placeholder we had on that other Wish cruise to get a “hay” of a deal on one of the Greek Isles cruises!

We actually had a b2b on the wish booked so we got two 50% offs. We are saving one to go hopefully on a Norway fjords cruise in 2023, I’m waiting for the new itineraries. The DVC one has points involved so I wanted to get that one used asap so we did the fantasy which ended up only costing $200 more to go from a 3 day to a 7 day with the awesome discount . Our son is 17 so he has missed 2 years of being able to enjoy the teen clubs which he always enjoyed making new friends so we are trying to cram as many trips in with him as possible before it’s off to college. He’s a foodie so he is looking forward to turning 18 and getting to go to palo and Remy on future cruises.
