Looks now like a front will pass through Florida on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day with the potential for high winds and heavy rain. Once the front goes through, Tuesday the 26th should be much cooler with 30s to 40s at night and 60s during the day. Temperatures should return to seasonable by the end of Christmas week.

Our local weather forecast says the rain will start Friday afternoon and won't stop until around noon on Christmas Day. It won't be continuous rain, but it will be continuous bands of rain coming through, with the chance of severe thunderstorms, especially on Sunday. We really need the rain, but I hope we don't get any severe weather. Temps will be in the upper 70's through Christmas Day and then in the mid 60's from Tuesday on (as far as the 10 day forecast would show).

The best weather forecasts are on the local tv affiliates: wftv.com, wkmg.com and wesh.com
