Just hoping you guys can throw some pixie dust on my first offer for a DVC resale.

I've been checking out websites, watching for contracts, saving my pennies and adding it to my dvc money in the hopes that a contract would come up that would match our needs.

I think I finally found one. I spoke to my husband and he gave the "whatever you want to do honey" OK so...

I called about an hour ago with an offer so if you could all think positive good about it, I'd appreciate it!

I'm hoping they accept my offer. If not....I know there will be others but...I sure hope it works out.

Sending your way! I have had my eye on a contract for a few weeks but just can't bring myself to make the call because it is a few thousand more than I want to pay so here's hoping everything works out for you!

Good luck on the response to your offer. It is always a good feeling to call and tell someone that their offer was accepted and they are now part of the DVC family.

Hopefully we will be saying "Welcome Home" soon.

Well folks....I'm sad to say that I got a call from the agent and he said we were outbid. That's the chance I took. I went slightly under the asking price and someone else was offering full price.

Well...live and learn...I'm sad but there will be other chances and maybe next time I'll have to decide if it's worth it to save a few dollars or just give closing costs, maint. fees, and full asking price.

I've just read about so many people who were able to knock off a small amount of one of those things so I took my chance.

I can't say that I'm not sad...but there will be other chances.

I'm sorry this one didn't work out..that just means a better one will come around
just as an FYI..we tried to get some little thing knocked off of our resale but the seller wouldn't budge so we paid exactly waht was asked..and really, no regrets!
