Update for the 4th floor of the Contemporary

Earlier today a Cast Member who in the past told me about the arcade moving to the 4th floor before it was announced, told me that next Monday the merchandice being sold on the 4th floor of the Contemporary is going to sold in the Bay View Gifts store. To back this up I heard one of the managers telling Cast Members in the Bay View Gifts store where all the new merchandice is going to go.

Wonder if this means the rumored rehab of the north end of the Grand Canyon Concourse is about to begin? It's been rumored that a new fantasia store is going to be installed in a portion of the atrium area. Also, have you heard when Food & Fun Center might be closing? Hope you're having a great trip!

I will ask later on what the next planned closing date is for the Food & Fun Center. As for the Fantasia store I have a guess of what might happen. If you look to where the sign for the arcade is and where the Sundries store is, there is a huge gab with a wall covering it. I don't know if they plan to re-open the store there, or just sell the other merchandice in the Bay View Gifts store. So we just got to wait and see, because from what I have seen it looks like they have no plans to do anything, because they don't have that sign on that wall which says "We are renovating for you're future enjoyment."

I just asked some Cast Members on the Atrium Club and they don't know when the Food & Fun Center is closing, but one of them did say he heard from his manager that the Contemporary Grounds might be closing this Sunday.

Sept 9 is the date for FFC from what I heard. It will them move into the area of Outer Rim closest to the DVC desk with very limited offerings.
